I have always been fascinated by sinusoidal as primordial matrix of life, of the breath... At the end of the 19th century a drawing tool - the Harmonograph - became very popular, it was able to produce beautiful images by means of one or more pendulums. With this work I would propose a new kind of visualization: if we consider time like a Z coordinate, our Lissajous's harmonic pattern becomes a 3d volume that gives more insight about the subtle structure of the original 2d curve. Furthermore the color, that results from mapping of some code inner objects, introduces a new expressive layer and it's well suited to accompany the observer in a playful journey of discovery among endless forms.
